Hello, my name is Alec. I love to play video games, exercise, and spend time in nature. I started learning Russian by wanting to train my dog with commands in another language. I think Russian sounds super cool and I have been fascinated by Russian culture since I was a young boy. My dog Kairi picked up the commands quickly but I was having a blast learning so I downloaded Duolingo. I still have much to learn but I think it would be cool to have a penpal, especially someone that is learning English! Being born in the heart of Belgium to Flemish parents and having spent my childhood in Wallonia, gave me the opportunity to become fluent (on a native level) in Dutch, French and English. Currently I'm trying to improve my Russian and my German (but my Russian is actually better than my German, because I just have no motivation for German whatsoever :/ ).
