Russian or Polish are among the hardest to learn for an average English speaker. The grammar is very structured and complicated, and it's difficult to memorize the irregular forms. It may take five years of practice, or a lifetime of learning, for me to become fluent in Russian.
I guess, it depends of the native language you speak. ;)
As for me Turkish and Korean are rather difficult. It has totally different sentence structure.
I guess for Turkish native speaker Korean must be easier to learn (after they mastered the Korean alphabet) because they have a similair sentence structure. But I don't know .:)
On the other hand the Russian grammer is rather difficult too.
I think it depends on the native language. As a Brazilian, Spanish and French was very easy to learn. Now I study Modern Greek, and it is harder than the Latin languages, but Modern Greek is not so hard. Maybe the hardest languages are Chinese, Korean, and other languages like that.
Да что ты говоришь! Если ты родилась в России, это не значит, что русский - самый легкий! (I think, that Russian is very nard to learn. I'm from Russia, learning English, Frans, Spanish is very hard to me, but i don't give up, i'm learnig, writing, reading, speaking and etc.
